ETHNOLOGY's journey led us through Kenya's diverse terroirs, meticulously sourcing single-origin, small-batch honey from artisanal beekeepers, each variety telling its own distinct story.

Among these treasures, we discovered John's family legacy—a honey as pure as the untouched lands it comes from. In his vast sanctuary, where agricultural crops dare not grow, native white flowers bloom in isolation, blessing his bees with nectar that transforms into pristine golden honey. Each drop carries an unmistakable signature: crystalline purity, natural sweetness, and remarkable freshness.

John's story spans four decades of devotion, a testament to traditional wisdom passed down through generations. What began as lessons from his father has evolved into an impressive enterprise of over 100 traditional log hives, each one a guardian of ancient beekeeping practices. The harvest is a sacred family ritual, performed under the cloak of night when the colony rests. Through the artful use of smoke—a technique as old as beekeeping itself—the family works in harmony with nature, gently persuading the bees to share their precious creation.
